Kubota Driving!

We went to a friend's house yesterday and all of the 'bigger' kids got to help our friend Micah drive the Kubota! (I never knew those things were called anything different than a tractor or excavator!)
Micah was so patient, as I believe he took 7 or 8 kids for digging rides and they all had a blast!

Thanks Micah!

Some of the boys and dads. Notice Kendall is the only girl. She likes to always hang with the boys!

Beckett wanted a ride so badly!
Kendall 'classin' it up with her boots she had to borrow from her friend Asher. Nothing like heading to a backyard BBQ and not bringing your own shoes!

Pics from the past few weeks...

It seems we have been extra busy the past few weeks, so I wanted to post just a few pics of some of our adventures. The hubs has been working quite a bit lately, so it's only been the kids and I on these - what I like to call - 'mini-vacations'. (I find that if you call an outing a 'vacation', no matter how big or small, things tend to be enjoyed more...though, you must be careful to not overuse the word!)
So, since daddy was doing lots of overtime, we had a couple vacation recently...

Mr. Beckett soaking up some sun out at the Hood Canal with our friends Jason and Jaala and their kids.
Kendall and Dolly (aka Beckett) in the mister - this is the only 'sprinkler' she's ever been brave enough to go it...and she had a BALL!

B fell asleep on my shoulder. He NEVER does that and I loved EVERY SINGLE SECOND of it!

The kids on a raft ride...Kendall is the only one without her hands up the air...she was listening to the instructions of "Don't Let Go" very well. Good Kendall.

Malia and Kendall enjoying the high tide, warmer water temperature and their new friend!

Kendall and Max (5) with baby chicks!

Max being quite the supervisor!

"Beautiful" Hollywood Beach in my home town. You'd think it was October or February with the gray and the sweatshirt. Nope. It's mid-July. Awesome.

Beckett and his 3 friends.

Nope. You're not seeing triple. Those are 3 babies. ALL identical. Odds for spontaneous identical triplets is: 1 in 200,000,000. All happy. All healthy. Amazing miracles. Their momma Jenni is doing an incredible job juggling these 3 handsome guys and her 21 month old daughter! Oh My!!!

4th of July Weekend

We had our amazing friends up from Portland for the night before the 4th. Jason and Jaala are so dear to us and their three kids are such joys to be around. We haven't gotten to see the kids in almost 2 years, so it was great to see them being so great with Kendall since they're all older than her.

Our community also had a huge celebration on Monday - bouncy houses, sno-cones, pony rides, pizza, face painting, cotton candy and more! It was so much fun. I can't believe the amount of crap I let Kendall eat all day on the 4th. It was insane. No sugar for her for awhile!

Fireworks on the 3rd. Kendall did NOT like the loud ones.

Landon - he was about a year and a half when he was the ring bearer at our wedding. He's grown up so much!!!

Kendall was NOT letting her dad of an arms reach of her. One scared little girl!

Hana and Jason

Hana was SO sweet with both Beckett and Kendall. She was the flower girl at our wedding, and I can't believe she's 8 years old already and will be in THIRD grade! Where does the time go?!

Fun in the sun!

I think we've had close to a week of nice weather all in a row - and we may even get to TWO whole weeks with no rain! Yay!
We took advantage of the sun this weekend. Luckily, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Amy came over to play, too!
Kendall loves her "swimSOUP" as she calls it! She even loves putting "sun-cream" on, too.
These kids are just too cute. We desperately need a community pool to go to though - one that you don't have to pay $4000+ just to use like the one at the country club up here.

Her bottoms keep falling off because they're a 3T size and are too big and because she has no bum or hips or waist! (No diaper holding them up like last summer, either!)

Not a bad view to enjoy while enjoying the sun!

Spinach and Squash

Beckett has not turned down a single food item yet. I hope this continues. We've tried lots of green beans, peas, carrots and squash and have just finished up some spinach. I'm shocked at how well this kid eats, though I guess it's pretty obvious how well he eats since he's so big!
Couldn't pass up a cute picture moment!
